Building materials are our business. As a global company, we take responsibility for the environment that provides us with the materials we use for building work. Clearly defined environmental principles guarantee long-term development of the company.

For the maxit Group, emissions are a high-priority environmental issue. We are therefore investing in ways of reducing dust emissions. Future energy consumption is another important issue, especially for our lightweight aggregate manufacturing units, that require a great deal of energy.

The implementation of the ISO 14001 international standard is in progress throughout the maxit Group. By working systematically with ISO 14001, measurable environmental targets can be established and assessed.
