Mandatory Conditions

Mandatory Conditions - maxit Comfort Floor

All maxit Comfort Floors must be laid by an accredited maxit Floor contractor in close cooperation with a heating contractor

Laying must be performed according to the specified working conditions: see the Working Instructions section

maxit and the maxit Floor contractor must be notified no later than 6 weeks in advance of the application of any Comfort Floor according to this specification in order to be able to perform the necessary assessment of substrate pre-conditions and heat calculations.
The maxit Quality Assurance System for Comfort Floors must be used by the accredited maxit Floor contractor for all floors according to this specification. See the following section: Quality Assurance System
Neither maxit nor the accredited maxit Floor contractor can be held liable for any damages caused by changes in building structures or structural movements.
The main contractor must ensure that the existing substrate meets the specified requirements (in connection with the products used) regarding surface strength and moisture levels. The main contractor must also ensure that the required application and drying conditions are met for the systems and individual products used.
The main contractor is responsible for load-bearing calculations in connection to building and floor structures with regards to the used system
